Fairmount Fionn is the recipient of the Male of the Year award for 2012. Bred by Thomas Daly, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny and subsequently purchased by Paul Marsh of the Dromod herd based at Broadford, Co. Clare. Fionn who is a son of the high profile UK sire Wilodge Vantastic and by Fairymount Uasa a Mas Du Clo dam with back breeding to Geant. Paul exhibited Fionn during the summer and was placed 1st and Champion at Charleville show, 1st at Athlone show, 1st and Reserve Champion at Corofin show, 1st and Reserve Champion at Bonninconlon show along.
